Terms of use

Last updated

These terms cover the scoop.md extension, the shared library at api.scoop.md and this website, run by [LEGAL ENTITY]. By using them you agree to these terms. How we handle data is in the privacy policy.

Using scoop.md

You may use scoop.md for any lawful purpose. Don't:

We may block installs or addresses that do these things, and remove what they shared.

Content belongs to its publishers

Documentation in the library is copied from public pages and belongs to the people who published it. Every scoop keeps the URL of each source so the publisher is credited and the original is one click away. We don't claim ownership of it, and sharing a scoop doesn't give anyone rights to it beyond what its publisher allows.

By sharing a scoop, voting or reporting, you let us store and display that contribution to run the library.

Takedowns

Use the report button in the extension, or email privacy@scoop.md with the site and what's wrong. We review reports and remove scoops that are inaccurate, harmful or shared without the right to share them. Publishers can ask us to stop storing scoops for their site altogether.

The code

The extension's source is on GitHub under the license in that repository. Those license terms govern the code; these terms govern the hosted library and website.

What your agent does is up to you

A scoop is reference material. Your coding agent decides what to do with it, and you decide what to run, merge and ship. Review what it writes.

No warranty

scoop.md is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Scoops can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and the library may be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from using scoop.md or anything it copies.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above changes when we do; continuing to use scoop.md means you accept the update.
